Rules & Regulations

Team Composition​

Each team must consist of 7 players:

  • 3 Social Players
  • 3 Amateur Players
  • Social Players must not have achieved Top 4 placements (1st to 4th) in any:
  • Semi-Pro tournaments
  • Amateur tournaments
  • Bakat Baru tournaments
  • Woman's Doubles tournaments
  • Team events are excluded.
  • Former National Players (Ex-National) and State Players are strictly not allowed.
  • 1 Backup Players (must be a Social Player only)

Match Sequence

Each team match must follow this order:

  • Social Player / Social Player
  • Amateur Player / Amateur Player
  • Amateur Player / Social Player

Tournament Format

Tournament Format as follows：

  • Group Stage: 4 groups of 4 teams (round-robin format)
  • Top 2 teams from each group qualify for quarter-finals
  • Quarter-finals onwards: Knockout format with reshuffled draw
  • Each game is played to 30 points, no deuce
  • Finals: Best of 3 sets, 21 points per set, win 2 sets to clinch

*Alert: Former National Players (Ex-National) and State Players are Not Allowed.

*Alert: Under the same eligibility rules, Foreign players are Allowed.

Registration

Registration Information as follow:

  • Entry Fee: RM500 per team
  • No refunds under any circumstances
  • All organizer decisions are final

Player Eligibility

Player Eligibility as follow:

  • Final player name list must be submitted by the registration deadline
  • No changes or player substitutions allowed after the deadline
  • Teams will receive the compiled player list after submission
  • A protest period will be announced for teams to raise eligibility concerns
  • After the registration deadline, the submitted player list is final. No player changes will be allowed.
  • If a player is disqualified or unable to participate, only backup player (Social Player) may be used as a substitute.

Protest Process

Protest Process as follow:

  • Protest Fee : RM500 (per case), must include supporting evidence
  • If the protest is successful :
  • The protested player will be disqualified
  • The protest fee will be refunded
  • No replacement is allowed for the disqualified player
  • If the protest is rejected:
  • The protest fee is non-refundable
  • All eligibility and protest decisions made by the organizers are final and binding.
  • Only registered team players are allowed to submit a protest. The name on the protest form must match the name on the bank account used for payment of the protest fee.

*Alert: Match winner is determined by games won, Not Total Score.
